AWT is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the careers of women in technology. We do this through awarding scholarships, developing leaders and creating community.
The cornerstone of our organization is our educational scholarship program. Since 2007, AWT’s mission has been to raise college scholarship funds for deserving young women pursuing technology‐related degrees at California colleges, helping them to realize their dream careers. At the awards event in 2022 we recognized scholarships awarded earlier in the year to 6 very impressive young women.
All of your sponsorship dollars stay at the local level because the organization is managed solely by part-time volunteers. Your support in the way of contributions to AWT will help us continue to provide education, mentoring and networking activities for our community.

Amid a shortage of women pursuing technology-related degrees, and technology careers in general, AWT is committed to recognizing California women who have chosen to enter the tech industry and are making great strides with achievements in key competencies such as collaboration, creativity, innovation, leadership, and transformation.
