Camellia Zhou

Director Technology Strategy
ProcessDX

Camellia’s life is an excellent example of choosing courage over comfort. As a native Chinese person, she achieved her bachelor’s degree from Peking University, studying science and chemistry. However, she did not feel passionate about her career. Rather than staying in the comfort of her city and her family, Camellia left by herself to get a master’s degree at Loyola University in Chicago in Computer Science. After achieving that goal, she graduated from the University of Chicago with an MBA and then co-founded a new startup business.

— From Camellia’s nominator

Natalie White

Natalie has been courageous in leading the efforts for SWE (Society of Women Engineers), Amazon and AWS to partner together in a year when charitable donations to non-profits suffered due to the pandemic.

As a result of Natalie’s courage during this difficult time, she got creative and enabled SWE to raise $7,500 in scholarships to present to 6 graduate and under-graduate collegiate students and certificate of merit awards to 6 local high-school students, nominated by their STEM instructors.
