AWT is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the careers of women in technology. We do this through awarding scholarships, developing leaders and creating community.
The cornerstone of our organization is our educational scholarship program. Since 2007, AWT’s mission has been to raise college scholarship funds for deserving young women pursuing technology‐related degrees at California colleges, helping them to realize their dream careers. At the 2022 Annual Gala, we recognized 6 very impressive young women who received scholarships earlier in the year.
All of your sponsorship dollars stay at the local level because the organization is managed solely by volunteers. Your support in the way of contributions to AWT will help us continue to provide education, mentoring and networking activities for our community.

Amid a shortage of women pursuing technology-related degrees, and technology careers in general, AWT is committed to recognizing California women who have chosen to enter the tech industry and are making great strides with achievements in key competencies such as collaboration, creativity, innovation, leadership, and transformation.
AWT sponsorship levels are designed to work with your sponsorship goals, giving you and/or your company exposure to this diverse community.
Advancing Women in Technology (AWT) donations are 100% dedicated to funding the AWT Charitable Foundation providing annual scholarships to women studying at a California college in pursuit of careers in the STEM field. We rely on corporate financial support to facilitate networking and career development through informal and professional events including quarterly forums and our Annual Recognition Gala attracting professionals from every area of STEM.
With your contribution to AWT, you will be supporting an important community of STEM professionals in our efforts to advance higher education and ultimately fill the pipeline for women in tech!
