2026 AWT Community Awards Are Now Open!
AWT is proud to open nominations for the 2026 Community Awards, recognizing individuals and organizations whose leadership, advocacy, service, and impact are helping advance women in technology.
This year, our Community Awards have expanded to include four award categories:
⭐ Community Award – Rising Star
Recognizing a woman on the rise who is demonstrating exceptional promise, leadership, and impact in technology.
🏆 Community Award – Outstanding Executive
Honoring an accomplished woman executive whose leadership, influence, and achievements are making a meaningful impact across technology and her community.
🤝 Male Allyship Award
Honoring a male ally who actively advocates for, supports, and creates opportunities for women to grow and succeed. Named in honor of Jeff Fung, this annual award recognizes individuals who lead by example and demonstrate a meaningful, sustained commitment to advancing women.
💜 Community Impact Award
Recognizing a nonprofit organization (NPO) making a meaningful difference for women and girls through technology, education, mentorship, or opportunity. Selected organization to also receive scholarship support to further their mission and impact.
Help us recognize the leaders, allies, and organizations creating meaningful change.
Award recipients will be celebrated at the AWT Annual Gala at the Irvine Hyatt on Thursday, November 12, 2026.
Nominations close Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

Our scholarship awards are made possible through the generous support of our members, community, and industry friends. Our supporters, through their commitment to higher education, play an active role in the future of technology.
AWT’s California fundraising forums and events throughout the year attract both men and women from every area of technology and our members include those just entering the field as well as those holding mid-level and senior-level technical and management positions.
