What is mindfulness and how can it help me at work and home?
Advancing Women in Technology (AWT) is proud to offer an informative discussion on Mindfulness in the Workplace. Find out why companies like Aetna, McKinsey, Proctor & Gamble and Apple are implementing mindfulness programs for their employees and how you can incorporate mindfulness into your daily work and home life.
Our workshop leaders are Barbara Vanek, Sr. Manager, IT, Hoag Hospital, experienced meditation instructor and member of the Costa Mesa OC Shambhala Center, and Laura Mascheroni, attorney and mindfulness coach. Together Barbara and Laura will guide us on an exploration of mindfulness techniques for work and home. They’ll also share ways to stay focused on the process including using a smart phone app.
