This year Advancing Women in Technology (AWT) is proud to host our 15th Annual Wine Tasting & Scholarship Fundraiser, raising much-needed scholarship funds for deserving young womewine-980218_1920 pursuing technology-related degrees. Since 2007, AWT has awarded more than $137,000 in scholarships.

Two San Francisco Bay Area technology leaders will kick off this year’s AWT event. Patti Robb, head of Strategic IP & Advance Platforms for Intel’s Internet of Things Group, and Beth Devin, CIO/CTO Consultant, Alvarez & Marsal, have come up the ranks in the tech world, each via different paths and experience. Together they will share their point of view, learning, and advice on tackling the gender diversity challenge in today’s tech marketplace.

Join in the celebration on Thursday, November 3 as we recognize this year’s scholarship recipients and our 2016 Rising Women and Outstanding Executives in Technology. Enjoy wine tasting, a light dinner and fantastic opportunity basket drawings, and networking with our tech community.

This event and our AWT Scholarship Awards are made possible through the generous support of our sponsors, members, community, and industry friends. Our donors, through their commitment to higher education, play an active role in the future of technology.

We invite your company to join our prestigious roster of corporate supporters. Not only is this an opportunity to extend your visibility as an advocate for women in technology, but you will be playing a direct role in encouraging and cultivating the role of women in our industry’s future while networking with the AWT community of CIOs and technology executives from California’s top companies. Contact Susan Peck at mailto:sponsorship@awtca.org for more details.
